Earlier reports indicated that during a wedding in the Kegeyli district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, several drivers deliberately collided with multiple cars while trying to cross the road. As a result, each of the 13 individuals involved was sentenced to 15 days of administrative imprisonment, according to Supreme Court spokesman Aziz Obidov.

On June 13, the Nukus City court handled the administrative case concerning these 13 participants. They were charged with "disrespecting moral standards and violating public order" under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, which pertains to petty hooliganism. Among those sentenced was the groom's son-in-law.

Additionally, nine cars involved in the wedding procession were impounded, and administrative reports were filed against the drivers.
