Today, March 9, an assembly of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was held. During the meeting, organizational issues were discussed. This was reported by the press service under the Council of Ministers.

Following the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Akhmedova Maryam Khalilayevna was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan - Chairman of the Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs.

Prior to her appointment, Maryam Akhmedova held the post of Deputy Minister of Neighborhood and Family Support of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Earlier it was reported that new deputy governors were appointed in the Khorezm, Andijan, Samarkand, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions .
