2988Powerful drugs smuggled from the Kyrgyz Republic were confiscated. This was reported by the State Security Service.
It is noted that a 39-year-old citizen living in the Olabuqa district of the Jalalabad region of the Kyrgyz Republic, along with 44 and 26-year-old individuals living in the Yangikurgan district of the Namangan region, conspired to bring 16,800 units of the powerful drug "Regapen" from the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan through detours. They were arrested while attempting to sell the drugs for 36,000 US dollars.
During a swift operation in Tashkent city, a citizen born in 1982, residing in the Shaykhontohur district, and his car were inspected with the participation of impartial officers. Additionally, 2,967 pieces of "Regapen '' were found and processed in the Uchtepa district apartment of his acquaintance, born in 1978, who had previously been convicted for a drug-related crime.
When a Nexia car traveling on the "Ferghana-Tashkent" route was stopped and inspected in the Sergeli district, it was found to contain 1,400 units of "Regapen" and 30 units of "Tropicamide" drugs belonging to a 35-year-old resident of Ferghana city, which were duly registered.
When the Lacetti car of a person born in 1989 and living in Namangan city was inspected with the participation of impartial individuals, 6,034 pieces of the powerful drug "Regapen" were found and duly registered. The urgent operation continued, and 2,800 pieces of "Regapen" were found in this individual's residence.
"It should be noted that in all cases, the confiscated powerful drugs were smuggled into our country from the Kyrgyz Republic. Criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals, and investigations are ongoing," the report said.
