Osh earthquake felt in several districts of Andijan

On April 14, 2025, at 10:11 PM local time, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Republic Center for Seismological Monitoring.

The epicenter was located near Osh, Kyrgyzstan, southeast of Tashkent, at a distance of 312 km. The quake had a depth of 10 km, with a shaking intensity of 4 points at the epicenter.

In Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt across various locations in the Andijan region:

  • Khojaobod District: 3 points, 16 km from the epicenter
  • Qorgontepa District: 3 points, 22 km
  • Jalaquduq District: 3 points, 23 km

Earlier, a 7-point earthquake occurred in the Gorno-Badakhshan region of Tajikistan, causing tremors felt in surrounding areas.
