In the Kibray district of the Tashkent region, individuals who fraudulently sold 37 heads of cattle belonging to another person were detained. This was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the report, during the investigation, citizens M.Kh, S.Kh. (previously convicted of fraud), and others gained the trust of citizen O.T. and reached an agreement to sell his 131 heads of cattle. They paid 1 billion soums for 50 heads, but then sold 37 heads of cattle—worth 814 million soums on the market—to third parties and fraudulently obtained the remaining funds from O.T.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are currently underway.

It is worth noting that earlier, in the Bukhara and Fergana regions, individuals who promised university admission in exchange for money were also detained.
