A video depicting cockroaches present within the rooms of the gastroenterology department at the Children's Multidisciplinary Medical Center in Kashkadarya has been circulating on social media, sparking widespread discussion. The Regional Health Department has responded to the situation.
It is important to note that this situation indeed occurred at the regional multidisciplinary medical center. Subsequently, on August 15 of this year, officials from the Regional Department of Sanitary-Epidemiological Peace and Public Health Services conducted disinfection and disinsection activities within the gastroenterology department of the regional children's multidisciplinary medical center.
This issue was addressed during an extraordinary general meeting of the center's staff, leading to the identification of necessary measures aimed at bolstering departmental oversight in accordance with sanitary regulations.
Furthermore, as a result of their negligent approach to their responsibilities and a lapse in supervision, the senior nurse of the gastroenterology department and the housekeeper have been relieved of their positions. Additionally, the department head has been subject to a 30% salary deduction due to the lapse in oversight.
