A high school student and a vice director were involved in a physical altercation in Shahrisabz

There have been reports on social media that a high school student and a vice director were involved in a physical altercation at one of the schools in Shahrisabz, Kashkadarya region. However, no action has been taken yet. The press service of the Shahrisabz city administration provided information about this incident.

It is reported that the incident occurred on February 19th of this year at general education school No. 1 in the city. Around 10:45 a.m., the vice director of the school, responsible for spiritual and educational affairs, attempted to bring students back to class as they were playing in the snow instead of attending classes.

At that time, a 10th-grade student resisted the vice director. Subsequently, the vice director took the student to his office, where they had a discussion that escalated into physical violence, with both parties reportedly exchanging blows. 

Both the student and the vice director have been hospitalized. The Shahrisabz city DIA is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
