A disturbing incident involving a teacher hitting a student at School No. 33 in the Shahrisabz district of Kashkadarya region has spread across social networks. The Regional Department of Preschool and School Education has responded to the situation, providing further details.

The incident occurred on October 9 at approximately 10:30 AM when the school's English teacher, U.S., reportedly told a 5th-grade student, M.P., not to disrespect other students. The student allegedly insulted the teacher in response.

"The teacher attempted to take M.P. to the spiritual room when her hand accidentally hit the student's nose, causing it to bleed. Following the incident, M.P.'s mother came to the school and confronted the teacher, resulting in a physical altercation between the two," noted the school administration.

The school's principal has reported the incident to law enforcement, and local authorities are currently investigating the matter, including the participation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Shahrisabz district.

The Children's Ombudsman is also investigating and has confirmed that a medical examination revealed injuries to the student's ear, nose, and face.

The case remains under investigation, with more details expected to emerge as the inquiry continues.
