Hotel in Kashkadarya was found stealing gas worth about 600 million soums

Illegal use of natural gas valued at 591.4 million soums was discovered at a hotel in Karshi, Kashkadarya region. The hotel had secretly connected to the gas network. This was reported by the Inspectorate for Control of the Use of Electric Energy, Oil Products, and Gas.
During a control event conducted by the regional administration of "Uzenergoinspeksiya," it was found that officials at the "A.H." house hotel in Karshi had illegally used natural gas by connecting directly to the gas network, bypassing the installed gas meter.
Preliminary estimates indicate that these violations caused 591.4 million soums in damages to the state's interests.
Relevant documents have been formalized and sent to law enforcement agencies for further action.
It should be noted that earlier, two greenhouses in the Samarkand region were discovered to have illegally used natural gas worth 1 billion soums.
