Passenger injured in Kashkadarya collision between two Damas

Yesterday, March 18, a passenger was injured in a collision between two Damas vehicles in the Kashkadarya region. This was reported by the Road Safety Department of the regional Internal Affairs Department.  

At 12:15 PM, the driver of a Damas car, traveling on the 11th kilometer of the state-owned D-148 "Yakkabag-Chirakchi-Shorbozar" highway through the "Istiklol" municipal district of Yakkabag district, failed to follow the overtaking rules and caused the accident by moving into the path of another Damas vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.  

As a result of the collision, one passenger in the Damas vehicle, which was traveling in the correct direction, sustained injuries and was taken to a medical facility.  

An investigation into the incident is currently underway.  

It is worth recalling that earlier, on the Tashkent-Bekabad road passing through the Piskent district of the Tashkent region, a driver fell asleep at the wheel, leading to the deaths of the driver and another passenger.
