Reports have emerged on social media claiming that a gas supply employee physically assaulted a young man, resulting in a broken jaw, in the Koson district of the Kashkadarya region. In response, the "Hududgaz Kashkadarya" gas supply company has addressed the situation.
Residents in the Koson district had been protesting due to delays in gas supply, having gone without gas for several months. Tensions escalated during a dispute, during which the civil servant struck the citizen in the jaw.
Currently, a preliminary investigation is underway, led by the prevention inspector of "Etak" neighborhood. A forensic medical examination has been scheduled to assess the extent of the citizen's injuries.
The incident has also drawn the attention of the gas supply branch of "Hududgaz Kashkadarya," which has announced that appropriate measures will be taken against the employee's actions. According to initial findings, while reports indicated that residents had been without liquefied gas for 100 days, it has been clarified that the actual duration was between 45 and 50 days.
The Regional Department of Internal Affairs has taken control of the situation, initiating investigations to provide a legal assessment of the incident.
