“Where's the money, puppy?” An audio allegedly belonging to Bandikhon's prosecutor has been circulated

The audio of the district prosecutor of Bandikhon district in the Surkhondarya region, insulting the chairpersons of the neighborhood with various inappropriate words, has been spread on social networks. The Prosecutor General's Office has reacted to this situation.

In the distributed audio, the prosecutor gathered the heads of neighborhoods in the district and asked for a report on tax revenues.

"Are you a man too? If you were a man, you would be doing the work of a man. Go and walk like a dog in the street. If you die, immediately we murmur," says the prosecutor, pointing to the chairman who failed to collect tax revenues.

Also, the prosecutor insulted the chairman of another neighborhood, saying, "You are a dog. Are you a man? You are a puppy." From the audio, it can be seen that one of the chairpersons who was insulted is a woman.

"Where is Bandikhon? Where is the money, brother? 3 million? Put 3 million in your mother's …. Where is that thing you said yesterday? Put it where it is, the disease spread from the dog! Where is the happy life? Yes, sister, 500,000 soums were received. Where? Go, write your application, get lost... do you want to work here and defame the state and society?" said district prosecutor Makhmanov, who continued to insult him.

The prosecutor insulted the chairman of another neighborhood, saying, "Put your head in your mother's …, it will get better, that's where you came from." In response, the head of the neighborhood said not to be rude.

Responding to this situation, the General Prosecutor's Office informed that the investigation is currently being conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Surkhandarya region.

For information, the law provides for administrative and criminal responsibility for insulting a person's honor and dignity, or intentionally insulting with indecency. In particular, according to Article 140 of the Criminal Code, if the insult was committed after an administrative penalty was applied for such actions, a fine of up to 200 times the base calculation amount (330 thousand soums) or up to 240 hours of compulsory community service works or shall be punished with correctional works for up to 1 year.
