9657In Turkey, parents have been urged to protect their minor children from indoctrination into bigotry in various schools. The General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Istanbul issued this warning.
Recently, advertisements for schools targeting Uzbek children, under the names of certain foreign countries, have been circulating on social networks in Istanbul. These schools offer courses in foreign languages, robotics, religious studies, informatics, and physical education.
"Although the religious classes at these institutions are based on the Ahl al-Sunnah creed, some teachers may impart religious views that conflict with moderate Islam, potentially leading to ideological conflicts in our society in the future. Therefore, we urge parents to safeguard their minor children from exposure to bigoted views in these schools," the message states.
We also remind Uzbek citizens traveling to Russia to adhere to security measures and requirements.
