A fire broke out today, August 19, at the under-construction Center of Islamic civilization in the Olmazor district of Tashkent city, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The ministry stated that at 11:11, it received information about construction materials burning at the site, located on Zarkaynar Street in the Olmazor district.
Firefighting crews on duty, along with additional teams that arrived at the scene, are working to extinguish the blaze.
According to the report, no injuries have been recorded as a result of the fire. Officials noted that additional details will be provided later.
It is worth noting that earlier, a fire erupted in a two-story teahouse near the historic Kalyan Minaret in Bukhara. The incident damaged the roof of the teahouse over an area of about 100 square meters. No injuries were reported in that case either.
