Major cleanup in the Interior Ministry system: 10 officers dismissed, service investigations launched against 13 others

Ten officers have been dismissed from the ranks of the internal affairs bodies in Navoi Region. This was announced at a meeting held with the full personnel of the Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

It was reported that during the meeting, which involved all personnel of the regional department, special attention was paid to strengthening service discipline and the rule of law, preventing various forms of misconduct by officers, and, in particular, identifying and eliminating in a timely manner factors that give rise to corruption-related crimes.

All managers were instructed to exercise daily oversight of their subordinates, to take an individual approach to each officer, and to assign duties and tasks while taking into account their professional performance, social and family circumstances, as well as their psychological condition. It was emphasized that every manager bears personal responsibility for the actions of officers under their supervision.

At the same time, it was noted that over the past 10 months of the current year, officers committed 93 different types of misconduct. As a result, 10 officers were dismissed from the internal affairs bodies. In addition, during the meeting, misconduct was identified involving 13 more officers, and service investigations were ordered against them.

Furthermore, a number of measures were outlined to accelerate positive efforts aimed at transforming the internal affairs bodies into a people-oriented and professional structure, as well as to further improve officers’ combat readiness, physical fitness, and level of professional knowledge.
