Interior Minister elected Chairman of Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation

Aziz Toshpulatov, the current Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, has been elected Chairman of the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation. The announcement was made by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

Colonel Aziz Toshpulatov previously served as head of the Namangan Regional Internal Affairs Department from 2015 to 2017, and later led the Samarkand Regional Internal Affairs Department from November 2017 to June 2019. Since June 2019, he has held the position of First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.

On March 3 of this year, his candidacy for Minister of Internal Affairs was approved by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

For reference, the position was previously held by former Minister of Internal Affairs Pulat Bobojonov.
