Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola praised Abdukodir Khusanov's performance following their match against Liverpool. Speaking at the post-match press conference, Guardiola highlighted the young Uzbek defender’s speed and discipline.

"He also played well in Madrid. At the Santiago Bernabeu, he played on the right wing and handled Vinicius well. Today, he showed the same fast and disciplined game. He still has areas to develop, but he is a very talented player," Guardiola stated.

For reference, on February 23, Manchester City hosted Liverpool in the 26th round of the Premier League and suffered a 2-0 defeat. Khusanov was included in the starting lineup and played the full 90 minutes.

Additionally, the Uzbek player received a 7.2 rating from Sofascore for his performance in the match.
