Emergency Situations Department issues warning to Tashkent residents

Today, June 9, strong winds are expected in Tashkent. In response, the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department has issued a safety advisory for residents and visitors.
The department urges the public to follow these safety recommendations:
- Securely close doors, windows, attics, and ventilation systems in homes;
- Avoid standing near trees and electricity poles while outdoors;
- Remove or secure objects on balconies, window sills, and exterior areas of multi-storey buildings;
- Seek shelter in sturdy buildings, underground crossings, or other safe structures when the wind intensifies;
- Do not enter damaged buildings or take cover near unstable poles, billboards, or trees.
Additionally, residents are advised not to park vehicles under trees or lightweight structures to avoid damage.
