Attention football fans: World Cup ticket prices announced

The ticket prices for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, scheduled to take place on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA, have been announced, according to BeIN Sports.

Less than nine months remain until the World Cup, which will be held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Meanwhile, several national teams are still competing for a place in the tournament.

In July of this year, FIFA announced that tickets for the 2026 World Cup would not be released all at once but rather in stages. The reason is that many countries have yet to secure a qualification.

According to reports, tickets for World Cup matches will be divided into four categories, from category 1 (the most expensive) to category 4 (the cheapest, located furthest from the field).

For the opening match in Mexico, ticket prices will range from $370 in the lowest category to $1,825 in the highest.

In Canada, the opening game will see ticket prices starting at $355 and reaching up to $1,745. In the United States, tickets for the opening match will start at $560, with the most expensive seats priced at $2,735.

For group-stage matches, ticket prices will range from $60 to $805, while tickets for the third-place playoff will be priced between $165 and $1,000.

MetLife Stadium, with a capacity of 82,500 spectators, will host the World Cup final. The fans will be able to purchase tickets at the following prices:

• Category 1 (premium lower-tier seats with maximum viewing comfort): $6,370
• Category 2 (lower and upper tiers): $4,210
• Category 3 (mainly upper tiers): $2,790
• Category 4 (upper tiers outside Categories 1, 2, and 3): $2,030

For comparison, tickets for the 2022 World Cup final started at $206, with the highest category priced at $1,607.
