Turkish club: “No contact with Fayzullayev”

Reports have circulated online claiming that Turkish club Istanbul Başakşehir is interested in Uzbekistan national team midfielder and CSKA Moscow player Abbosbek Fayzullayev. However, the club’s press secretary, Gökhan Yılmaz, has denied these claims.

"I spoke with our scouting team. They confirmed that there are no such initiatives at this time," Yılmaz stated.

For reference, Abbosbek Fayzullayev played 39 matches for CSKA last season, scoring 3 goals and providing 8 assists.

It is worth noting that earlier reports suggested Istanbul Başakşehir was in talks with another Uzbek player, Eldor Shomurodov, and that a deal was reportedly close.
