Fayzullayev answers the question about his participation in the Olympics

Abbosbek Fayzullayev, a midfielder for CSKA Moscow, intends to join the Uzbekistan national team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. He revealed this in an interview with "Match TV".

In May, the Uzbekistan national team advanced to the finals of the U-23 Asian Cup, securing their first-ever spot in the Olympics.

"Vladimir Fedotov and I have not yet talked about my participation in the Olympics. The Olympics is a major event for athletes and might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I am thrilled to have the chance to participate in the Olympics for the first time. Last time, there was an agreement between the federation and the club when I left. If the club had not allowed me to go to the Asian Youth Cup in the spring, I would have stayed and helped the team," said Fayzullayev.

The 2024 Olympics are scheduled to take place in Paris from July 26 to August 11. Uzbekistan's Olympic team will face Spain in their first match of the tournament.
