Today, July 29, a fire broke out in a karaoke cafe located on the ground floor of a 4-story building in Fergana.  As a result, 6 people died.  This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is said that today at 11:39 a.m., a fire broke out in the karaoke cafe located on the ground floor of a 4-story building on Sayilgoh street, Mash’al, Fergana city, Fergana region Emergency situations  received a message to the department.

Accordingly, 6 fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene at 11:44, the fire was surrounded at 11:48 and was completely extinguished at 11:56.

As a result of the accident, 6 citizens died, 7 citizens were sent to the hospital with various injuries.

According to the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a government commission headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Ramatov was formed and went to Fergana region to investigate the incident and provide assistance to the victims.

We remind you that on July 27 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to Fergana region in order to get acquainted with the life of the population and the economy of the region.  A meeting was held in the city of Kokan with the participation of the leadership of Karakalpakstan, governors of all regions and districts through video communication, and several leaders were dismissed or dismissed.  On July 28, 31 responsible leaders were fired at the extended board meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the participation of the President.
