Two individuals perished in a tragic incident in Fergana

Two individuals succumbed to injuries in a traffic collision within the Fergana region, as per the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On the evening of March 5, 2024, a driver, born in 1997, lost control of his Cobalt vehicle, striking five pedestrians on the roadside.

Consequently, two pedestrians sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene, while the remaining three were admitted to the hospital.

A criminal case has been initiated in relation to the occurrence, with an ongoing preliminary investigation.

It's worth noting that on March 4, a citizen passed away following a separate traffic accident in Tashkent city.
