A person who kept marijuana in his house was caught in the Koshtepa district of the Fergana region.  This was reported by the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that during an inspection of the apartment of S.A., a resident of the "Korakaltak" neighborhood, marijuana drugs were found in a paper wrapper under the carpet in the bedroom, in a polyethylene bag between the wall in the yard, and a box in a chicken coop.  These items were taken as evidence.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case was initiated by the investigative unit of the Koshtepa District IIB under Article 276, Part 2, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code.  An investigation is currently underway.

"We remind you that a person who commits the crime specified in Article 276, Part 2 of the Criminal Code can be punished with imprisonment for up to 5 years," the report said.
