Two cars collide and hit pedestrian in Fergana

In Fergana region, a Spark and a Lacetti collided, after which one of the vehicles struck a pedestrian standing by the roadside. The regional Department of Traffic Safety provided the official report.

According to the information, the accident occurred at around 8:10 a.m. on October 16 at the intersection of Mustaqillik and Andijan streets in Yozyovon district. A Lacetti crashed into a Spark that was attempting to make a U-turn.

As a result, the Lacetti driver lost control and hit a 1991-born pedestrian standing on the roadside. The pedestrian sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway.

Earlier, it was reported that in the city of Margilan, Fergana region, a driver hit three schoolchildren who were crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.
