Active elderly people will receive 577,500 sums monthly allowance

Active elderly people will be incentivized monthly with 50 percent of the minimum wage, equivalent to 577,500 sums. This initiative is outlined in the Presidential Decree titled "On Measures to Attract Active Luminaries to the Implementation of the 'From Poverty to Prosperity' Program", signed on November 25.  

As per the decree, each neighborhood will receive an annual allocation of 10 million sums to engage senior citizens in sports activities.  

Furthermore, three reputable and experienced active luminaries will be assigned to assist five poor families in their respective mahallas. Their primary activities to help families escape poverty include:  

- Assisting families in effectively using household land and renting small production equipment and other necessary tools on an installment basis.  
- Helping children of poor families secure apprenticeships with skilled artisans and providing those studying in educational institutions with educational supplies and sports attire.  
- Promoting walking culture in the community.  
- Organizing sports events tailored to senior citizens and encouraging their participation in physical education and sports.  

This initiative aims to leverage the wisdom and experience of senior community members to foster socio-economic development and active lifestyles.
