As previously reported, on November 15, the "One Heart for Palestine" summit convened in Istanbul under the leadership of the First Lady of Turkey. Attendees included spouses of various state and government leaders, among them Ziroat Mirziyoeva, the wife of Uzbekistan's President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During the summit, the First Lady of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoeva, conveyed profound condolences to the families and loved ones of all victims affected by armed conflicts. She emphasized the ongoing tragic events in Gaza, lasting over a month, resulting in the loss of numerous innocent lives—especially children, the elderly, and women. She asserted that these events cannot be justified by any means.

"Despite the international community's strong protests and pressures, the unprecedented scale of destruction persists, with no end in sight. This escalation raises the risk of further regional entanglement in armed conflicts," remarked the First Lady of Uzbekistan.

She expressed that the people of Uzbekistan deeply empathize with the hardships suffered by Palestinian civilians.

The First Lady urged both sides to immediately cease hostilities and open fire, creating an opportunity for humanitarian aid delivery to those in dire need. She stressed the necessity to resolve the conflict through peaceful and diplomatic means, adhering to the principle of "two countries for two peoples." Uzbekistan reiterated its steadfast commitment in this regard.

It was highlighted that Uzbekistan stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people, fully supporting their right to establish an independent state in line with United Nations resolutions.

Concluding the summit, the gathering of spouses of heads of state and government on the Gaza Strip adopted a Declaration of Goodwill.
