Uzbekistan coach stresses importance of victory against Kyrgyzstan

Uzbekistan national team coach Temur Kapadze shared his thoughts after the match against Kyrgyzstan.

“First of all, I congratulate our fellow citizens on the Navruz holiday. For us, the most important thing was the victory. We had plenty of opportunities, and the score could’ve looked very different had we scored earlier. Nevertheless, Kyrgyzstan didn’t play poorly; they defended well. Now we must prepare for the upcoming matches,” said Kapadze.

Under Temur Kapadze’s leadership, the Uzbekistan national team hosted Kyrgyzstan in the 7th round of the 3rd stage of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. They secured a narrow victory, bringing their group stage points total to 16 and solidifying 2nd place.
