Government organizations to turn off lights for 1 hour tomorrow

 On the initiative of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, Uzbekistan will hold a special campaign on March 25 in observance of Earth Hour Day. This was reported by the ministry's press service.  

As part of the campaign, all government organizations will switch off their electricity for one hour.  

"The goal is to conserve natural resources, promote energy efficiency, and contribute to the well-being of our planet," the statement reads.  

The ministry also urged the public to support the initiative by refraining from using electricity for just 60 minutes during the day.  

"By doing so, you will help preserve the Earth's natural resources and inspire others to be more environmentally conscious," the ministry added.
