Currently, some expenses incurred by migrants are partially reimbursed. These expenses include work visa fees, transportation costs, foreign language assessments, and vocational evaluations. These proposals were presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on April 2.

Over the past two years, approximately 70,000 individuals have migrated to developed countries with assistance from the Foreign Labor Migration Agency. However, some migrants venture abroad without proper qualifications, leading to concerns about their working and living conditions, as well as their professional and income stability.

Efforts are being made to assist individuals returning from migration by providing state aid and ensuring their reintegration into the workforce. Suggestions have been put forward to enhance the labor migration system accordingly.

The Foreign Labor Migration Agency will undergo restructuring to become a state institution responsible for managing employment resources. The agency director will also serve as the deputy head of employment and oversee a fund to support migrant workers.

Various measures, including establishing 24-hour call centers in embassies and relevant ministries, are being taken to expedite assistance for migrants abroad, particularly in countries such as Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.

A new approach, "work abroad by designation," will be introduced, where local authorities and youth leaders will assess and support individuals' aspirations to work overseas. This information will be recorded in an online platform for job competitions abroad.

Individuals lacking professional skills or language proficiency will receive vocational training and language education. The Foreign Labor Migration Agency will close its foreign language training center and focus on targeted training for migrant workers.

To incentivize language learning, recipients of foreign language certificates or equivalent qualifications will be eligible for a 50% reimbursement of their language training expenses.

Measures will be taken to facilitate the reintegration of returning migrants into the workforce, including providing support to transition from farming to other income-generating activities and offering financial assistance through the Small Business Support Program.

Medical check-ups will be provided free of charge to returning migrants and their families, while social assistance will be extended to children through "Inson" centers. Additionally, enterprises hiring returning migrants will receive subsidies from the Employment Support Fund.

The effective establishment of this system, provision of support services, and generation of employment opportunities have been facilitated by state intervention and support.
