Starting from the adoption of a new government resolution, it will no longer be considered a violation to drive vehicles in lanes designated for buses—marked with the letter “A”—between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. This change follows instructions from the President.

Several concessions will take effect from the date the resolution is signed.

Specifically, from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., vehicles other than buses will be permitted to use lanes reserved for routed public transport.

Currently, driving other vehicles in bus lanes is prohibited. However, since nearly all bus routes end their operations by 11:00 p.m., this measure aims to provide additional convenience by allowing other vehicles to use these lanes at night without penalty until 6:00 a.m.

The resolution also clarifies that from June 1 of this year, violations of traffic rules involving crossing road markings will not be recorded using automated photo and video equipment, except for violations related to the stop line (road sign 5.33).

Furthermore, starting June 1, urban road repair work and road marking activities will be prohibited from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., except on weekends or in urgent cases where delays are not feasible.

Finally, from September 1, the installation of the “Radar” road sign will be mandatory in areas where stationary and mobile speed radars are located. These signs must be placed between 250 and 500 meters from the radar sites.
