Uzbekistan ranks 79th in the list of the world's strongest passports

Uzbekistan secured the 79th spot in the global passport strength ranking by the international consultancy "Henley & Partners."

Uzbek passport holders can enter 64 countries visa-free or with simplified procedures. In 2023, Uzbekistan was ranked 78th. At the start of this year, it held the 80th position.

Besides Uzbekistan, Cuba, Mongolia, and Mozambique also share the 79th position.

Singapore's passport ranked first, allowing entry to 195 countries visa-free. The second position was held by France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain, with visa-free access to 194 countries. Austria, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Sweden took the third spot, granting entry to 193 countries without a visa.

Additionally, Ukraine ranked 32nd (149 countries), Russia 50th (120 countries), and Turkey 51st (118 countries).

The rankings of Central Asian countries are as follows:

 Kazakhstan is 67th (79 countries);
 Kyrgyzstan 78th (65 countries);
 Tajikistan 82nd (60 countries);
 Turkmenistan 90th (52 countries).
