Dollar exchange rate rises for sixth consecutive day

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set the exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum that will be effective on May 12.
According to the regulator, the official US dollar exchange rate rose by 26.97 soums and was set at 12,141.94 soums.
The euro also increased by 29.32 soums and was set at 14,289.85 soums.
The Russian ruble rose by 0.56 soums to 162.63 soums.
The Chinese yuan increased by 4.04 soums and was set at 1,785.16 soums.
The price of one gram of gold rose by 19,700 soums and reached 1,892,900 soums.
According to TradingView, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on May 8, the bitcoin exchange rate fell by 4,603,599 soums and was set at 974,934,441 soums.
