Diyora Keldiyorova gives her Olympic kimono to the Lausanne Museum

Diyora Keldiyorova, the champion of the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games, donated the kimono she wore during the competition to the museum of the International Olympic Committee. This donation was announced by the press service of the Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

A conference dedicated to this event was held at the main press center of the Games. Attendees included Adham Ikromov, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Oybek Qosimov, the Secretary General of the NOC, as well as officials from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Judo Federation.

Keldiyorova became the first Uzbek female athlete to win a gold medal at the Summer Olympics. She expressed her pleasure in winning the historic championship and stated that it was an honor for her kimono to be displayed in the IOC museum.

At the end of the event, the organizers prepared a special gift for Keldiyorova. Her idol in the world of judo, two-time Olympic champion Clarisse Agbegnenou from France, congratulated her on the historic victory and sent her warm wishes.
