A fire broke out today, January 26, at Chorsu Market in Tashkent, according to the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations.
It was reported that at 4:04 p.m., emergency services received information about a fire at a shop located at Chorsu Market on Beruniy Street in Tashkent’s Shaykhontohur district. Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene at 4:08 p.m. The fire was contained at 4:20 p.m. and fully extinguished by 4:25 p.m.
According to officials, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The incident caused damage to approximately 15 square meters of the shop’s basement.
It is worth noting that earlier, a fire occurred in a three-storey residential building in Tashkent’s Sergeli district.
