One of Isroil Madrimov's primary dreams is to enter the pound-for-pound (P4P) ranking, regardless of weight class. The Uzbek boxer will face American Terence Crawford in the ring on August 3rd. Madrimov shared this aspiration in an interview with the event organizers.
"My life has changed 100 percent. I started my professional boxing career six years ago and have been waiting for this moment ever since. My dream and goal are to fight the best in the world and thus enter the P4P rankings. I am well-prepared and, God willing, I will keep my championship belt in my hands," Madrimov said.
For the record, the Madrimov-Crawford fight will take place on August 3rd in Los Angeles, California. The bout will feature Madrimov's WBA belt and the vacant WBO belt in the super welterweight division.
