Schoolgirls beat their classmate in Bostonliq

8384A group of schoolgirls in the Bostonliq district of Tashkent region physically assaulted and verbally abused their classmate. This incident was reported by the Children's Ombudsman.
E.O., born in 2010 and residing in Bostonliq district, attended a private meeting with the Children's Ombudsman on April 3rd and filed a complaint.
In the complaint, E.O. expressed being constantly harassed and mistreated by classmates at school, with no intervention from school authorities or officials.
Upon the Children's Ombudsman's request, both the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and law enforcement investigated the matter. It was discovered that on March 18th, E.O., S.M., M.K., and K.V. had a conflict resulting in E.O. being physically assaulted and verbally demeaned by three girls.
An investigation conducted by the "Markaziy" neighborhood inspector in the Bostonliq district involved a forensic medical examination of E.O. and K.V., confirming minor injuries.
The parents of S.M., M.K., and K.V. faced administrative consequences under Article 47 - Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility for failing to fulfill their duties in raising and educating their children. Additionally, the girls received psychological support from a psychologist to address their behavior.
Both the school management and the inspector-psychologist were duly cautioned to prevent future instances of bullying among students.
