Multi-storey buildings and a hotel are built instead of the parking lot belonging to the “Bunyodkor” stadium

In 2023-2025, a hotel and a multi-storey residential building will be built on the parking lot belonging to the “Bunyodkor” stadium located in Chilonzor district of Tashkent city. This was noted in the President’s decision “On additional measures to increase the industrial potential and investment attractiveness of the Chilonzor district of the city of Tashkent” adopted on July 3 of this year.
According to him, the total 5.5 hectares of land of the parking lot will include a hotel, commercial and service facilities, apartment buildings and a multi-story parking lot worth at least 200 million US dollars. The proposal for the construction of a modern business center was approved. This proposal came from the Tashkent city administration.
Also, with this document, the government and the capital’s administration were instructed to allocate the plot of land “for the implementation of the modern business center” to the initiators of the project in the established order. The document does not specify who the initiators of the project are.
