Violence in Bukhara school: Leadership changes after assault incident (video)

A video was circulated on social media showing the father of a 4th-grade student entering a classroom and beating several children at School No. 34 in Bukhara, while the class teacher stood by and watched. The Department of Preschool and School Education of Bukhara region provided information about the incident.

It was noted that the situation occurred on April 30 of this year in class 4-"B". On that day, some students of the class had a fight outside the school. One of the children called his father and claimed that he had been beaten. The father, identified as B.Sh., came to the school and assaulted the children who had allegedly hit his son, in front of other students.

The school administration submitted an official report to the relevant law enforcement agencies regarding the father's unlawful actions. Meanwhile, the employment contract of the school security guard, Sh.A., who allowed an unauthorized person to enter the school, was terminated. The school principal, who failed to properly manage the situation, was also dismissed from his position.

In addition, an internal investigation is currently being conducted into the actions of the class teacher and the deputy principals. Further information will be provided based on the results of this inspection.
