7364A criminal case has been launched after the tragic death of an 11-year-old boy at a private ENT clinic in Bukhara city. The incident occurred after the child was administered medication without prior testing for potential side effects. The Prosecutor General’s Office spokesperson, Hayot Shamsutdinov, confirmed the development.
Investigations revealed that the boy, identified as I.M., passed away following medical treatment at the clinic. Considering the need to verify all circumstances and conduct further investigative actions, a case has been initiated under Article 116 of the Criminal Code (failure to properly fulfill professional duties).
Leaked reports claim that the boy, who was a young athlete, visited the clinic with his father due to an earache. While the father stepped out to get food, the doctors allegedly forced the child into a procedure and administered an injection, which led to his death.
Earlier, a 32-year-old prosecutor in the Fergana region also passed away following a nasal surgery at a private clinic.
