Patrol officers prevent a suicide attempt in Bukhara

A woman in the city of Bukhara, Bukhara region, reportedly attempted to jump into the water due to hardships and personal struggles. This was confirmed by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.

According to the report, during a campaign conducted by the Patrol Post Service of the regional Internal Affairs Department aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of swimming in unauthorized bodies of water, officers noticed a woman sitting alone on the bank of a water body.

Upon speaking with her, she stated that she had come to the site overwhelmed by difficulties in life and family-related problems.

The Patrol Post officers promptly intervened and prevented a possible tragedy, effectively saving the woman’s life.

As a reminder, a similar incident was recently reported in the Syrdarya region, where the body of a 59-year-old man was found in a canal flowing through the Saykhunabad district.
