20-year-old student leaves note before taking own life in Bukhara

On April 27, a first-year student residing in the newly built dormitory of Bukhara State Technical University tragically took his own life. The incident was reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.
According to Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office, the student, identified as A.Sh., born in 2005 in Navai region, died by suicide at approximately 7:23 AM. Before his death, he left a note asking not to blame anyone for his actions and seeking forgiveness from his parents.
The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It is worth noting that on December 6, 2023, a 23-year-old student from the same university (formerly known as Bukhara Engineering Institute) also died by suicide in the dormitory after consuming vinegar.
