Electricity worth 2.1 billion soums stolen in Bukhara

Cases of illegal use of electricity worth 2.1 billion soums have been identified in Bukhara region. The Inspectorate for Control over the Use of Electricity, Petroleum Products and Gas reported this.

During an inspection conducted by the Prosecutor General’s Office headquarters in Bukhara city, it was found that a non-residential building belonging to K.C.K. LLC had been arbitrarily connected to the power grid and had illegally used electricity worth 1.639 billion soums.

In addition, a fish farm belonging to citizen S.J. in Jondor district was found to have been arbitrarily connected to the power grid and illegally using electricity. According to preliminary calculations, the damage amounted to 505 million soums.

Earlier, it was reported that a case of illegal use of electricity worth 1.9 billion soums had been identified in Surkhandarya region.
