A new rector is appointed to the Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology

9433In accordance with a decision by the Cabinet of Ministers, Sadokat Ghaforovna Siddikova has been appointed as the rector of the Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation's information service.
Prior to her appointment, she served as the head of the Department of Professional Education System Development at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
For your information, Sadoqat Siddikova was born in 1978 in the Navoi region. She graduated from Bukhara State University with a bachelor's degree in 1999, and in 2014, she earned a master's degree from the Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology, specializing in applied mathematics and informatics, professional education, and computer network software. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences.
She embarked on her career as a teacher at the Bukhara Oil and Gas Industry Vocational College in 1999, subsequently becoming deputy director. From 2022 to 2023, she served as the deputy head of the Bukhara Regional Employment Directorate, "Ishga Marhamat" in Bukhara. She has held positions as director of a monocenter, chairman of the Executive Committee of the Council of the Party Organization of the Bukhara region of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, and deputy minister of higher and secondary special education. In 2018, she was awarded the "Fame" medal.
