New facilities are provided in Tashkent metro

On 23 February, at 15:00 in the Tashkent subway, a mother and children room and a passenger toilet facility were put into operation. Mirakbar Tolipov, the press-secretary of State Unitary Enterprise “Tashkent metro” reported this to the reporter of QALAMPIR.UZ.
«The facilities were launched in the metro station «Chilanzar». If they are a success, the same facilities will also be implemented in other, busy stations of the subway», Mirakbar Tolipov said.
According to him, the Metro toilets are available free of charge to privileged persons, who are entitled to free public transport.
We have previously reported that toilets may be built in the Tashkent metro for the convenience of passengers.
