Today, Jalolov and Dosmatov will begin their campaign in the World Cup

The World Boxing Championship among adults continues in Tashkent.  On day three of the competition, two boxers from Uzbekistan entered the ring.

Saidjamshid Jafarov defeated Mozambique’s Osorio Muhanga in the -71 kg weight category, and Mujibillo Tursunov beat Gambia’s Merri Kor in the -60 kg category.

Today, 4th of May,  four leather glove masters from Uzbekistan will begin their competition.

Ruslan Abdullayev will fight with Oer Ibarreche from Spain in the day program, at -63.5 kg.  The fight with Abdullayev will start after 14:55p.m.

In the evening program, Shadiyorjon Melikoziyev will compete against Rabin Tapa from Nepal in the -48 kg category.  Olympic champions Hasanboy Dosmatov and Bahadir Jalolov will also have their first match in the tournament today.  Dosmatov will fight Mexico’s Alberto Jimenez, and Jalolov will face Bahraini Danis Latipov.  The fights of Uzbek boxers in the evening program will start after 18:00p.m.
