Today, taekwondo players from Uzbekistan will start their participation in the international tournament

Today, 11 March, the “Dutch Open” international taekwondo WT competition will begin in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.  This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan (NOC).

Eight representatives of the national team of Uzbekistan will compete for medals in the tournament.  It became known who will compete with Uzbek athletes in the first round of the competition.

-68 kg: Niyoz Polatov – Miroslav Frgolech (Slovakia);

-74 kg: Ulugbek Rashidov – Oleksandr Papatsenko (Ukraine);

-74 kg: Jasur Jaysunov – Alejandro Hernandez (Spain);

-80 kg: Shuhrat Saloyev – Karim al-Hisnavi (Netherlands) / Ricardo Suzuki (Japan);

-87 kg: Nikita Rafalovich – Erdin Bukich (Sweden);

-49 kg: Madinabonu Mannopova – Sharon Wakoli (Kenya);

-67 kg: Feruza Sodikova – Ikra Kayir (Turkey);

+73 kg: Svetlana Osipova – Yun Pan (Chinese Taipei) / Sarah di Sinno (Germany).

It should be recalled that the “Dutch Open” international tournament will end tomorrow, 12 March.  After the end of this competition, the Uzbek team will start participating in the "Belgian Open" competition in Lommel, Belgium.  Both tournaments will provide valuable ranking points for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
