Uzbek athletes to begin Olympic campaign today

Uzbek athletes will begin their participation in the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games on February 14, as competitions enter their eighth day.
Medet Nazarov will make his first start in the giant slalom at 14:00 Tashkent time. Daniil Yeybog will compete in the short track 1,500-meter quarterfinal, scheduled for 00:15 in the early hours of February 15.
Earlier, following the redistribution of Olympic quotas by the International Skating Union, it was confirmed that Uzbekistan’s Daniil Yeybog would also compete in the 1,500-meter event.
