14078Today, on November 10, the World Championship among under-17 players will commence in Indonesia. The representatives of Uzbekistan, positioned in the "B" group of the Junior World Cup, will face their counterparts from Mali in the first round.
The students of Jamoliddin Rakhmatullayev reached the semi-finals of the Asian Championship held in Thailand this summer, securing a ticket to the world championship. Alongside Mali, Uzbek players will also compete against representatives from Canada and Spain.
Mali, today's opponent for Uzbekistan, secured the 4th place in the African Championship, earning the right to participate in the World Championship. Rakhmatullayev's students will engage in a match against representatives from the "black continent," donning full blue uniforms. The match will be officiated by a Uruguayan referee team, with Teixeira Gustavo as the head referee, assisted on the wings by compatriots Barrerio Carlos and Nieves Andres. The duty of the 4th official referee has been assigned to Aranda Aprisman from Indonesia.
