Uzbekistan appoints new first deputy chairman of customs committee

By the relevant resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 11, 2025, Colonel of the Customs Service Gayrat Farhodovich Nosirov was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Customs Committee. This was reported by the press service of the committee.
On February 11, an extraordinary expanded service meeting was held at the Customs Committee, attended by the central office of the committee and the personnel of territorial customs departments and posts via video conference. During the meeting, information about organizational changes was provided, and the above-mentioned resolution of the President was read out.
Before his appointment, Gayrat Nosirov served as the head of the specialized customs complex "Tashkent-Aero."
It was also reported that Ilhom Mukhtorov, who has been serving as the First Deputy Chairman of the Customs Committee until now, will continue his service in other structures of the customs authorities.
The meeting also addressed several issues related to the implementation of the tasks set for the customs authorities this year.
It is worth noting that on February 4, Alisher Burievich Khidirov was appointed Deputy Governor of the Syrdarya region for construction, creating a barrier-free environment, communications, utilities, ecology, and landscaping.
